After the success of the previous release on the label, the Summer Warm Up E.P, a release that achieved immense support on Beatport and Trackitdown. Nataraja featured twice on Armin Van Buuren's A State Of Trance radio show. For this release we see the return of Kearnage label boss Bryan Kearney with his massive track Awaken. Awaken is a throwback to the golden days of trance and a track that has been in production for almost 8 months. It first made an appearance in Bryan's set at Digital Society at the start of the year and since then has become one of the most requested tracks in the Irishman's performances over the course of 2012. A devastating combination of power and emotion are brought to the fore with pulsating basslines and melodies all adding to the appeal of the track. The breakdown is the absolute definition of euphoria. A male speech provides the perfect back drop to the string and piano sections before unleashing a roof raising melody and climax that will shatter many a dancefloor. Proper trance. On remix duties for this one we have UK producer Chris Metcalfe. This is the second appearance from Chris on Kearnage Recordings and he provides us with a more techy affair with a Goa style influence that provides the perfect alternative to the emotive original.
